For AD

The theme of AD's baptism was "one day in the farm". His mom asked me to turn some farm animal characters into favors. I cut almost one hundred of them out of thick cardboard and I hand painted them. Pigs and cows and donkeys and hares. Everybody loved them. Kids and adults, both. So after the christening party, I decided to use some of them to make ornaments.

I made some door ornaments...

Some shadow boxes...

And I hand-painted a photo album for AD, to keep inside his christening photos!

I thought I should make some artwork for older kids... This is the first one of a new series... A series of portraits of Princesses and young Queens.

Mrs Piggy lives!

I was surfing the internet when I came across this lovely little shop Personalized handmade toys! Irma is so talented! She makes all shorts of softies! Imagine my surprise when looking among her little creatures, I discovered this cutie.

I couldn't believe my eyes! Beautiful Mrs Piggy lived in a far away place. What a resemblance... Even her posture... I guess it's true what Irma mentioned: creative minds DO think alike :) As you imagine, I had to have this doll! I had to adopt it! So her maker sent me this gorgeous package, full of presents and surprises... Thank you Irma...

Dear old friends...

Two years ago I painted a series of little canvases (15x15cm) for a baby-girl's bedroom. Those canvases were portraits of animals with a vintage feel. I loved them very much and although I let them go find a new home I still miss them... So I decided to give them a new life.

This is my first attempt to go digital... so please do not be very strict...

First, I introduce you Bunny Teal! Bunny Teal is an artist. Today he is being interviewed for an article in an Arts magazine. For his portrait, he is posing against his newly decorated studio wall...
